The End of 2014, The Beginning of 2015

So, today is the very last day of 2014. How do I celebrate it? Well, I don’t. Why should I? I’ve been celebrating 25 new years all my life and to be frank, none of the ‘new years’ seem a bit different from others. Days still continues, time still ticking, sun and moon replaces each other. Nothing really changes except the date of the calendar.

However, 2014 is one hell lot of special year for me. Yes, HELL LOT! This one change that I can feel is the change of chance (and daily routine). If before this I just live my life just to ‘live’, work because of I have a job (and salary to catch to buy things that I ‘always’ wanted or perhaps pay the bills) and do nothing in my free time, 2014 changes quite drastically, I would say.

This is the year where I had a lot of new experiences. Experiences that I longed to do before this but had no guts (and money) to accomplish them. This is the year that I (almost) completely change my daily routine and fill with plans of exciting things to do. This is the year that money that I spend worth of priceless experiences. This is the year that I decided to change and be better and explore many things (in legal ways).

It all started with the wedding ceremony of my brother. Well, here I learn a lot about wedding. Let’s not talk so long about this.

Next, I tried to hold REAL gun, firing REAL ammo. This is cool, actually. And to spend hundreds of $$$ for this experience are so worth it. Hey, after all I just want to experience. It is not I try to shoot to become a police or a soldier. Experience is important after all.

Next is the horseriding experience. This one particular experience is the one that I longed for SO long. I’ve always wanted to ride a real horse, learn ways of managing a horse and BAM, finally 2014 is the year that I can do that. I had always planned to do this since October of 2013 and can only start in the middle of 2014. Plans can wait, really. Be patient, PLAN WELL and whatever you want to do (as long as it is legal), you can finally do.

Nest is ATV ride. I cannot say that this is new for me. I’ve been doing this before and I actually have a clue about what would happen when doing this. It is a good experience after all, although not actually new to me.

And one most IMPORTANT, most VALUEABLE experience of my 25 years of life is when I went overseas for the first time for holiday/trip purposes (Yogyakarta in 2012 is not included because it is for work purpose and fully sponsored by UiTM). This trip had really taught me to manage and plan my saving and control my desires of wanting to buy stuffs that I won’t be using eventually (which are many of them). This one particular experience had really opened my eyes and drives me to do more. It gave me the idea of how travelling can really help you (especially when travelling alone. I don’t really find pride in sponsored travelling) into learning new things, challenging your fear, accepting your fate and making new friends. This, this experience is the most priceless of all.

So, now I am sketching some new plan for 2015 and beyond. This time I will do it MY WAY, my style and of course, my MONEY. Like I said before, plans all you want and finally find the time and money to execute them.

After all, dreams are just dreams until you make them real.
